Can men wear wellies?

An interesting question! We see tonnes of pictures in the glossy magazines and across the internet of our favourite celebrities wearing funky wellies at the Summer festivals but how many of those are mens wellies?  Our favourite female celebs are often papped wearing their Hunter wellies or even some patterned funky wellies – but how often are these images of our much adored male celebs?

Nicholas Hamilton from Westminster News Online contacted us when writing an interesting article on the subject of mens wellingtons – he tried on some Hunter wellies and commented “it is quite a novelty to bounce around on flexible rubber soles. When I turn to the mirror, however, I look as though I am on my way to milk the cows” – could this be why wellies are far more popular with ladies than gents? Women certainly have more choice, especially with the variety of colours and prints available. But watch this space….I think there will be lots of new mens wellies appearing for the fast approaching festival season.
