Snow is falling all around me and Christmas is fast approaching! It’s that time of year when the weather has turned; the snow is covering surfaces everywhere you look, Jack Frost has paid us a visit and we’re out at the car in the mornings with our ice scraper in one hand and de-icer in the other! Christmas is a time for giving, but don’t forget to look after yourself – especially now the good old Winter weather has set in. It's time to start thinking about wellies for Autumn and Winter

It seems that Autumn has arrived, and I’m sure you will agree with me that it seems to have come very early this year! The nights have really drawn in now, the evenings are cold – I have had to pull my Winter Jacket out already. The ground is covered in Autumn leaves and the conkers are falling from the trees thick and fast. I have worn my wellington boots everyday for weeks now and am starting to think about investing in some new wellingtons with a warm winter lining.

 We are all getting very excited now as we have put in so much hard work, have got (nearly!) all of our new stock in, and have got some funky new additions including having an ever bigger stand for all of our lovely Wellington boots. Burghley Horse Trials also means the return of our Burghley staff; Katie, Sandy, Kate and Alison, and also some newcomers; Clare and Jake, plus it’s a first time Burghley for Sam, Viv and me!
